Role Overview

The Sales Strategy Lead/Senior Analyst (Data & Insights Analyst) is a flexible resource that covers the entire Customer Success Group (CSG). They collaborate with Business Partners to support the achievement of important goals such as promoting Salesforce adoption and expanding product usage while minimizing cancellation risks. This position is not just a reporting role, but requires proactive identification of business questions, building an analysis foundation, collecting and analyzing data, and providing insights that drive decision-making.

Responsibilities include Insight Generation, Decision Support – Business Partner Collaboration, Decision Support – Strategy Team Lead Collaboration, Stakeholder Business Understanding, Analytics Development, Data Quality, and Data Management.

Requirements

  • 5 years or more of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or management planning
  • Deep understanding of business models and business processes of the business group (Customer Success / SaaS, etc.)
  • Ability to understand the business situation, challenges, and decision-making processes of stakeholders and make autonomous decisions on data utilization direction
  • Proficiency in extracting, aggregating, and analyzing data using readable SQL
  • Experience in building executive-level dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau
  • Experience with internal CRM and cloud DWH platforms
  • Advanced quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills (Excel / Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests from stakeholders independently and provide high-quality results within the deadline
  • Ability to communicate insights derived from data clearly and persuasively to senior leaders
  • Fluent Japanese (native level) and sufficient English skills for business execution
