Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for providing industry-leading service for large industrial motors, generators, and turbines to customers worldwide. This includes growth of the motor, generator, and controls portion of WEG Engineered Services and Aftermarket Business, and cultivating relationships with customers in the Southeast Region.
What You Will Do
The BDM will focus on aftermarket business development and sales activities, develop close working relationships with customers and WEG partners, and lead sales-related activities to support bookings and sales growth.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial technology or related field, or 2+ years of general industrial inside sales experience, and demonstrated skills in social interface, communication, and problem-solving.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial technology or related field
- 2+ years of general industrial inside sales experience
- Demonstrated sense of urgency to affect timely response and resolution to customer requests
- Proven ability to keep multiple tasks and activities coordinated, prioritized, documented, and in motion or progress at one time
- Demonstrated capacity for social interface with internal and external customers as required, achieving customer satisfaction excellence
- Proven ability to effectively deal with difficult customers through oral and written communication
- Proficient MS Suite programs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with Inside Service Sales Support and Customers effectively
- Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, and team player
Benefits
- Salary ranges from $115,000 to $125,000
- Full-time position
- Domestic and international travel of up to 100%
