Role Overview

The Business Development Director is responsible for developing and closing high-value growth opportunities in the assigned vertical market. They will develop territory marketing and individual business plans, establish strong alliances with clients and vendors, and create a value proposition for WillScot services.

What You Will Do

Prospect and close defined potential new customers, develop and implement Go To Market plans, create and manage customer-focused strategies, and drive strategic marketing and outreach plans.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful commercial sales or business development experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of prospecting and winning new high-value business
  • Knowledge of commercial business proposal/bid processes
  • Direct experience related to proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and cost/price analysis
  • Excellent negotiation and customer relation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable with evolving technologies
