Senior Technical Marketing Engineering Leader

Role Overview

This role is a Hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the Milpitas, CA office. The Senior Technical Marketing Engineer and Technical Leader will serve as the primary technical authority for Cisco’s AI infrastructure platform, bridging the gap between engineering development and customer-facing deployment.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and maintain reference architectures and validated deployment patterns for AI-driven cloud infrastructure. Operate full-stack lab environments to validate Day 0, Day 1, and Day 2 workflows, including automation, scaling, and security controls.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, systems engineering, or platform/site reliability engineering, with a strong background in Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and AI/ML infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + 12 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree + 8 years of professional experience
• Experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, systems engineering, or platform/site reliability engineering
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production or production-like environments
• Experience developing infrastructure automation using scripting languages or infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations or documentation for technical audiences
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, specifically managing GPU clusters, model training pipelines, or AI-workload placement within Kubernetes
