Data Analytics Manager

Role Overview

Public Storage is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead analytics capabilities for their Real Estate Finance organization. This role will drive the modernization of financial reporting infrastructure, develop advanced analytical models, and build self-service analytics capabilities.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Real Estate Finance BI reports and dashboards, designing and building Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and supporting ongoing analytics platform improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis, and a strong understanding of financial statements, including the ability to read, interpret, and help build P&L models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis
• Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
• In-depth understanding of financial reporting cycles, portfolio analysis, P&L modeling, and industry knowledge
• Exceptional communication skills
• Collaborative approach with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, IT, and business units
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
