We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team as a Data Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of data engineering and integration, and model development, with a specific focus on designing and building cloud data and AI solutions using Snowflake and the eco-system of tools that are part of the wider solution architecture. You will play a crucial role in designing the solution architecture, enabling data ingestion and transformation pipelines, designing data models and data products, and creating user-friendly interfaces that empower users to interact with complex data through data visualization tools and natural language interfaces.
Requirements
- Snowflake AI Data Cloud solution architecture design
- Data modelling and the design and build of data pipelines to ingest and transform data
- Integration of the Snowflake platform with other ecosystem toolsets such as Fivetran, dbt and Coalesce
- Designing and building scalable, robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Snowflake using tools such as Snowpipe, Fivetran, dbt and Coalesce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains at the cutting edge of data engineering practices
