Lead Program Financial Analyst

Role Overview

As a Lead Program Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the financial success of our defense programs. You will partner closely with Program Managers to deliver accurate forecasts, ensure compliance with government financial requirements, and provide actionable insights that enhance profitability and performance.

What You Will Do

Lead the preparation of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts for assigned programs. Analyze cost performance, schedule impacts, and program variances to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.

8+ years of experience as a Program Financial Analyst in the defense or aerospace industry. Strong understanding of government financial regulations and compliance (FAR, DFARS, EVMS).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Program Financial Analyst in the defense or aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of government financial regulations and compliance (FAR, DFARS, EVMS)
• Proven ability to develop forecasts, manage large data sets, and perform detailed variance and cost analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or equivalent
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to present data-driven recommendations to leadership
