Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager owns the go-to-market strategy for Nielsen products, translating complex architectures into clear stories and influencing product decisions, sales strategy, and marketing campaigns. The role requires a deep understanding of the customer’s problem and the market’s needs, as well as the ability to shape the product roadmap and launch lifecycle.
What You Will Do
The Product Marketing Manager will help build the PMM function from scratch, turning the product vision into a market story that customers act on. Key responsibilities include translating complex legacy architectures into clear stories, partnering with Product on roadmap prioritization, and building and maintaining sales enablement assets.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate is a market strategist who can read the market clearly enough to see what will matter to buyers before it is obvious. They should be a customer champion who starts from the customer’s problem, not the product’s feature list, and have a track record of influencing what got built, not just how it was sold.
