GEICO is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our Claims Innovation team. In this role, you will own complex analytical solutions end‐to‐end, integrating advanced data analysis, modeling, and visualization to deliver scalable, production‐ready insights for Claims leadership. You will partner across Claims Innovation, Product, Engineering, and Operation teams to improve claims operational efficiency, loss performance, and customer experience, while mentoring junior analysts and helping mature GEICO’s claims analytics ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of 6 years of analytical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in P&C insurance industry, preferably within claims.
- Expert level proficiency in Power BI, including semantic modeling, advanced DAX, and visualization best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL, with experience performing data pulls, joins, and aggregations on large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to partner cross functionally to translate data and analytical requirements into deliver measurable and actionable outcomes.
