Role Overview
The Sales Manager develops a well-trained sales staff that meets or exceeds all sales quotas, increases market share and customer base within established budgetary levels while maintaining the highest ethical standards and observing Company policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include staff management and leadership, meeting and exceeding established location sales quotas, ensuring sales counselors utilize methods as set forth in training manuals, providing initial and ongoing sales instruction, managing sales counselors, developing marketing programs, analyzing competitor pricing, and maintaining all marketing materials and sales supplies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of sales management experience, a working knowledge of Windows-based PC environment and MS office applications, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, work beyond standard business hours, and set goals for employees.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of sales management experience
- Valid state/province driver’s license with good driving record
- Insurance license as required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
