Aera Technology is seeking a customer-facing Associate Data Scientist to investigate complex datasets, perform exploratory data analysis, and drive long-term fixes for deployed ML/AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with machine learning frameworks, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Investigate complex and often disorganized datasets
- Perform extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Design and run diagnostic experiments and adversarial tests
- Serve as the primary technical contact for data science issues
- Fine-tune hyperparameters, retrain models, or implement minor algorithmic adjustments
- Collaborate with support, product, engineering, and partner teams
- Communicate technical findings clearly and empathetically
- Contribute to playbooks, runbooks, and best practices
