Citi is seeking a Director, Business Development to lead a team in pursuing the U.S. Consumer Cards business development strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of USCC products and services, as well as excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Requirements
- 11+ years relevant experience
- Previous experience in new business development required
- Experience in Marketing and Product development preferred
- Track record of success with demonstrated skills in Sales, Finance and Customer Relationship Management
- Experience in P&L management
- Track record of leading large complex cross-functional teams through the business development process
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Effective team player – ability to lead and partner with other areas (finance, risk, marketing, operations)
- Strong senior level network across Citi lines of business
- Existing relationships with prospective partners and industry advisors
- Fluency in structuring financial offers and experience negotiating complex multi-year agreements
- Strategic thinking skills
