Sr. Solutions Engineer, Mid- Enterprise

Klaviyo is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to lead technical strategy in high-stakes, complex deals, drive advanced technical discovery, and prototype solutions to drive strategic revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales, with a strong background in modern development stacks, AI-assisted development tools, and marketing automation. The role requires executive presence, exceptional communication, and the ability to navigate multi-layered stakeholder environments. The salary range is $118,400—$177,600 USD.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales
  • 4+ years of experience leading technical strategy in high-complexity Enterprise deals
  • Strong background in modern development stacks: Python, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React), RESTful APIs, SQL, mobile development exposure
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Codex, Claude Code) and emerging patterns like MCP
  • Strong domain knowledge in marketing automation, CDPs, eCommerce systems, analytics, or data engineering
  • Advanced discovery and requirements gathering skills
  • Executive presence and exceptional communication
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging conversations, manage objections, and deliver strategic insights
